HELP!!! Failed MOT due to Issue with Brake load sensing valve linkage

Hiya, my names Joe. Please could anyone help with our poor wee booper!!


My wee Hijet has failed its MOT due to a issue with the brake load sensing valve linkage. The mechanic seemed to complain that it was just held together with a cable tie. I've had a bit of a google and the new ones seem to be about £300 and we can't really afford that at the moment.

Just wondering if anyone knows where we might be able to get a cheaper one/ Any useful fixes I might be able to do.

If it's a faulty valve, that can be stripped and reassembled - instructions are on here somewhere. Though it sounds more of an issue with the linkage in your case, is something missing?
