Hijet pickup 1.3 Payload?

Anyone know the payload for a Daihatsu Hijet (2004) 1.3 pickup? My mechanic is concerned that my demountable Romahome Pod with camping gear could be near the limit. My handbook says Gross Vehicle weight 1,550Kg - Max permissible axle weight Front = 680Kg - Rear =1,000Kg. I've looked up payloads on the web but get varying figures. The Romahome Pod Spec says it's 360Kg unladen and emphasises good weight distribution. Appreciate advice. Chris D.
