Where is everyone? (Location)

After the initial Hijet meetup in Holmfirth there is more interest in organising another one somewhere but to make it fair to everyone we need to see where everyone is based. Comment on here and we’ll put it on a map so that a suitable venue can be chosen. Got a few already.

I'm from Cardiff........think we should all invade IoW and buy Uncle Woody a beer or two .

Cullompton, would be interested in a meet but can see it being a bit of a journey

Joking apart that has been mentioned, If you are around I will be there 2nd week in June 2019.

West Midlands (Wednesbury).......have always wanted to meet infamous Matt (from the demise Hijet Parts) now gone into diagnostics I believe.

Not forgetting Woody.....both have always had that know how and willingness to advise/signpost. Something you don’t get nowadays comradeship people helping people.

These 2 are crucial for any meet..

Although realistically are we not talking 2019, hence autumn/winter will soon be upon us.

Added you to the list, Matt ran his own diagnostics business before Hijets but had to concentrate on his business left hijets alone. He still pop back every so often.

Almost another 10 miles along the Lizard for the most southerly point

Or about 20 miles west for Land's End

We have to travel to get anywhere - going to a Small Motorhomes Rally in Somerset in a few weeks time 140 odd miles.

IoW sounds a great idea. I will put it in my Google Calendar for 2nd week of June:

Book Eurotunnel for 1st week of June and go and see  Greg Phillips my brother in law in the South of France for two weeks at his gorgeous hillside pad with nice big swimming pool - and contact my other brother in law in Southampton, Steve Phillips (Chief Engineer on Red Funnel's, Red Eagle) for  50% discount on Red Funnel Ferry crossing. (Got to save a shilling wherever possible these days now I'm a retired man of no means - (Stop it Oldie)) .

Oh yes and if anyone is interested I want to sell my Romahome Pod ( the one in my Avatar) it's up for sale at £200. Full Electrics and RCD, 3 way Fridge, 2 gas bottles with Changeover Valves and more. Will need a good clean up on the outside as it has been stood under trees. ( got no water or electricity up at my old Workshop since the fire of 2 years ago.) Both double glazed windows have got cracks along the bottom of the seams, but on the outside and don't let water inside. I have got a Pair of glass windows with Aluminium Frames and rubbers, with top sliding openers available for £100.

You will need 7pin Socket fitted to your Pick Up before collection from the Isle of Wight. Can probably arrange a 25% discount on the aforementioned Red Funnel Ferry Crossing from Southampton to East Cowes.

I'm hoddesdon Hertfordshire. Able to travel as long as somewhere to camp with the dogs.
Maybe I'll make the iow visit to coincide with others for 2nd week in June rather than trying to squeeze it in this year. Sounds like a good plan to me.
