Windscreen wiper wipe out

Driving the new Hijet and there seemed to be a split second numbing of power (headlights dimming) and the windscreen wipers cut out and won't work.

Luckily it the time i was approaching the driveway and not on the motorway in heavy rain or something.

Where do i start on my trouble shoot?! Thanks in advance guys

so is the problem a spilt second numbing of power or the wipers not working anymore.

numbing of power:
the litle/thin wires comming from the battery could be the problem.
but it could be your battery itself to

wipers:
does it make any noise anymore dispite not working?
check fuse?

i hope somebody else can give you some better advice

Check the connection to the battery by the two small wires. I found this out the other week, I had moved the battery a touch and found nothing worked, then discovered that the end connection had just corroded and broken off. Maybe yours is breaking. Worth a quick look.

It was weird. I turned her on the following morning and the wipers were working again. I checked the battery all looks normal. I wonder what could have caused that sort of behaviour..?

L H side of the column, connection below fusebox, give it a clean, mine went a similar way.

Nice one chaps this one had me worried.
