hijet windscreen removal

Hi there,anyone removed the windscreen from '98 hijet,am I right in thinking there is a removable rubber bead holding the glass in?

Yeah, plenty of lube, put some pressure on the screen from the inside, work the rubber on the outside with a credit card or plastic scraper.

thanks for that,dont need a windscreen,need to remove to fix rust on frame.
