Oil leak rocker cover.

My newly bought Piaggio Porter (2003) has an oil leak, it seems to be originating from the valve cover (don't really know de English term) from the engine.

Known problem? Known solution?

Found the proper English word... The rocker cover...

Today I put the Piaggio inside our garage (the new Korando can sleep outside) an after a drive it seemed tot leak just a drop shortly after parking it.

I put a cardboard under it, but 10 hrs later, not an extra drop..

it could be because metal shrinks and expands when hot or cold, that could be the reason why it only leaks when hot.
clean it good and watch were its comming from.
you could replace the kleppendekselpakking/rockercovergasket if its no good

Thx... First I will have to clean the engine to see where the leak originates.

Think I have two, today I had two drops in different places (in 36 hrs more or less)

the gasket only costs around 15 euros or so, so the damage wont be that bad
