does anyone know where I can find a lsvp/compensator valve repair kit or where I can buy a new one for a 2004 Piaggio Porter van, thanks, mandy?

Hi Mandy. Unless anyone else knows different, there aren't any repair kits available for the Valve. Being a Daihatsu part, although they would be sourced from an outside supplier, it is only available from a Daihatsu Dealer.....

News that you didn't want to hear. Any Daihatsu dealer should be able to supply you with one and I imagine that they would all be around the same price. But I would dread to know how much they are. I haven't got a clue.

The official Daihatsu/Piaggio distributor is :

I.M Group Ltd.,
I. M. House,
South Drive,
Coleshill,
Birmingham,
B46 1DF

Phone 0121 747 4000 http://www.imgroup.co.uk

You can't buy parts from them, but they can tell you the correct part number and then they will direct you to your nearest Dealer, should you recover from the shock and want to buy parts.

Oh yes. Meant to mention. SOMEWHERE on the Forum Highly Jetted has done a step by step guide on how to strip the valve down. Somebody else might be able to point you in the right direction. I have had a quick look but can't find it. Lack of time.

Knitinglee, did you have you have to replace any of the seals when repairing yours, my piston seal has failed on mine and as there are no options I'm looking at making one to suit?

I had to disassemble mine last year but I did come across this when looking for a replacement.

Looks like they are out of stock however.
