Toyota sparky/daihatsu extol

Does anyone know if the newer model extol parts will fit an older one? Photos of the newer ones look like mine (to a non mechanic). Thanks to Raggy for replying so promptly but.... where would I get a speedo cable made? I've tried to add a photo here to no avail could anyone talk me through it!!Also anyone with any information regarding my converted camper would be graciously accepted.

Some had hijet cables made by a firm in Swansea. There is also www.speedograph-richfield.com (not used them just seen their advert in a magazine)
