For sale: cylinder head (partly refurbished) £80

So after an engine swap, I now have my partly refurbished cylinder head from the other engine sitting in the garage.

I had it skimmed and after taking it off the gasket looks perfect. Obviously it needs replacing but at least it shows that it's a solid block.

All the valves have been reground and reseated and the whole thing steam cleaned. New valve stem seals although I would check the fit. It's done about 1000 miles since the refurb.

It cost me £60 to have it skimmed and cleaned etc. and after the valves and other bits I'm asking £80 to recover costs. I'm not sure what postage will be but I will look into it.

Any interest?

Damnit... had you have posted a couple of weeks ago I'd have jumped on that! I had my head go and had to buy a whole new engine off eBay (not what I wanted, no guarantee of condition, but needs must!)

I have a good condition block now though, if anyone would want to combine them to get a whole engine

Ah. Well I'm happy for it to go to someone on the forum for £80. just trying to get some costs back. If there's no interest on here then I may stick it on ebay for a wee bit more!

I know this is a massive long shot..err do you still have that head?
