Cold when driving the Hijet
I remember several posts where people have complained of cold on the legs when driving in the winter but can't find them now. (Can't get anything useful out of the search facility). Usually HJ would respond suggesting draught came in through the rear headlamp covers.
Anyway I was poking about under the driver's seat today for something else and noticed (yet again) that the engine cover securing clip is worn/loose. However, this time I noticed that as a result the cover does not seat properly against the seals thus remaining partially open. Although the occupant's weight should push the seat down I was wondering whether this could be where excess cold air could be coming in.

Re: Cold when driving the Hijet
I shove car washing sponges under the dashboard of my van on the drivers side, because there are draughts that blow from under the dash.
Where they come from I don't know!
But the sponges stop the draft from battering my feet.

I find most cold air comes in around the back of the light covers on the inside, a shit fit in my opinion
