HI ALL
is there supposed to be a dished washer
on the free end on the spring (lever end)
it looks like the mounting bracket has bent
and the opperating rod is flapping free
thanks Geordie

There's supposed to  be a white Nylon split, shaped washer. I have in 11, no 12 years of dismantling now,  had a good one.
They are  always worn to excess unless someone has put their hand in their pockets and bought a new one like you probably will have to do.

Thanks Woody
I thought there must have had something in there,I am sure that I will find something that will do the job,the beast failed the M.O.T. on rear brakes and as HJ pointed out on a older post, the bracket was bent, and the bracket that is welded to the rear axle wasnt! that will be welded back on Thursday then hopefully a new ticket!!
