Stiff gas pedal: Hijet S100V, year 2000, 660cc, 3 cyl., gas, carburetor
The local “mechanic” here noticed that my gas pedal is really hard to depress and suggested a new cable. As a simple wrench turner is that something I can do myself if I can find the part? Any tricks I should be aware of? I am in the Dominican Republic.
Thanks!

Lube cable? Is pedal or pedal bracket mis-aligned or loose?

Someone lubed the cable some time ago but said that a new one was needed because the outer sheath was damaged (I think). I will take a closer look myself.
