It will start once in a blue moon and it will run great for the rest of the day, but once it sits over night good luck getting her to start in the morning... any ideas?

You need to spark test it.

Use a timing light!

Don't know what the set-up is on that but I have a dim recollection of a tiny air-leak on the fuel line to the carb causing similar problems on a car - but memory going back 30+ years here.

That depend on if your ignition system is working.

As per my initial post, check your ignition system with a timing light (crude) or an oscilloscope using a current inducer clamp probe.

Although a rag might not work as it may not release enough fuel, I use a squirty bottle with fuel in it set to a fine spray.

well I replaced all the fuel lines, vac hoses, checked spark, new pugs, its still a bugger to get started but once It starts it runs great and will run on and off all day long but as soon as it sits for 5 hours or more it doesn't want to start, it also seems like I burning a lot of oil?? Neutral

Valve stem oil seals could me toasted. But I'm not sure this would cause your starting problem.
