bought my van a month ago the feller he said it over heated twice in traffic. done compression test they're all good and it haven't over heated since (Don't think he filled the water properly) .Anyway i am going to fix a bedford rascal fan to the water pump to keep a constant air flow over the engine to keep it cool. Has any one done this and are there any down falls

Well its not an air cooled engine.

Blowing on it isn't going to make jack all difference.

Those fans on the water pump were to move air across the radiator, and it won't do such a thing on the hijet.

If its overheated occasionally then first port of call is a new thermostat and rad caps.

But it seem my listings for caps and radiators too have ran out, so I will list more on monday.

I also have some hose clip packs I'm about to list, which contain all the right hose clips for a Hijet coolant system.
