Just bought 1998 hijet mini bus,all of the window frames have badly rusted,have seen a v reg 1300 mini bus apparently abandoned in my local,does anyone know if the doors on this model are the same as on the 1998 model,thanks in advance.

Yes they are the same doors. Even the earlier model 993cc use the same doors. Trim panels may have different pattern material but they are a direct swop. The window winding handle on the earlier vans were a different style but still interchangeable. Winding mechanism's are both the same -- rubbish basically but the same.

thanks woody,I have just contacted the owner of the 1300 and agreed to buy it for the princely sum of £150,and its a runner,not bad eh!
