Dismantling the front of the van?

Dear All

Has anyone got any hints and tips about dismantling the front of the van to get to the headlights out? I have a Diesel Porter (EFI 1.3 body shape), it appears to be a put together using lugs I cannot see any obvious nuts and bolts where do I start?

Hi on the 1lt you remove the screws on the indicators and then you can remove the screws on the outside of the trim and unclip the inside edges and then the headlamps are held in by the adjusters. Hope this helps.

I have a 1.3 EFI petrol, I had to remove the front panel (clips) then pull the headlight surround diagonally towards the centre of the front bumper, this unclips the first two points, then fiddle with the next two clips which are central, you will then discover the two screws hidden under the outside of the surround.. it was the most fiddly and time consuming aspect of resilvering my headlights and changing the bulbs .. I hope this helps.

You're welcome.. tomorrow I'm tackling both sunroofs (leaking) and sanding down the roof.. dealing with the rust monkey and then repainting on Saturday.. at least that's the plan
