Purchase a Piaggio? Empty Purchase a Piaggio?

Post by soundguru Sat Jul 26, 2014 4:36 pm

Hi,Ive always fancied owning a Hijet tho what frightens the life out of me is the overheating issue..Am I correct in believing that the Piaggio equivalent has a different radiator with a top and bottom hose ....I can live with all manor of things but this seems to be a recurring isssue.I was recently in rural Italy this year and you see all loads of Piaggios around,,
Given that Italy enjoys much higher summer temperatures than us,,how do they cope with any overheating on their vans...

most of the over heating is lack of maintenance, they dont have so much bad weather/ road salt corroding clips rads etc, they pipe theirs different due to lhd, lack of antifreeze changes, so many things

It's not really ambient temperatures that cause overheating.

But in a climate which never gets all that cold, no one notices when the thermostats missing!
