Hihjet auto box and power steering

quick question, has anybody fitted an auto box or power steering in a 1300cc hihjet van. If so what box was used, what rack was used and was the engine changed to match. If so what engine was used?

Interesting Q. Have a feeling auto was an option in Japan, not sure about PAS. You find the steering heavy or are you thinking about someone with restricted mobility?

Not found an auto box suitable for a H series (1.3) hijet yet.

There are 660cc auto hijets out there.

Power steering, on later s110 and s200 hijets was an EPS system.

I believe that all Japanese Hijets are 660cc for taxation reasons and that the auto gearbox used is a CVT.

I also understand that CVT's are suitable upto 2 litres so I would have thought they could be used on a 1.3 unless they use less robust parts, which I would doubt.

They won't be a direct fit though.

To say all CVT are suitable for a certain task is quite a strong assumption, obviously each gearbox is tailored to suit its application.
