Door cards
Parking Holly half on the kerb to stop the roof light leaking on the drivers side but suspect that water has got onto my sliding door cards (she's a '98 MPV). The driver's sliding door card now drops out now when i open the door as the card had warped and the plastic plugs are knackered some what. Has anybody had any success making new door cards that can stand up to some wear?

Re: Door cards
Two options John : Fix the leak or buy a couple of matching door cards and put a self adhesive plastic film on the hardboard and see if that stops the water soaking the back of the card.
If its the material that's getting soaked then back to plan A---- fix the leak or plan B ---- buy a load of door cards. .

Affirmative. I've got to fix the seal with the window for a start. Now I'm going to use the pattern of the old card to cut a new on and go with a film in the door and a poly-U spray to seal the material of the card too. Thanks Woody.
