Re: LADY BROKEN DOWN
The vss error causes power loss after you cruise at about 50mph upwards for a good length of time.
All of a sudden you lose all power and it won't drive anywhere.
Then after a few minutes they run OK again.
I feel it has something to do with the trim tables on the ecu's software. It's trying to tune for fuel economy, but because the VSS isn't working the ECU see's 0 mph. So it makes the whole trim table totally lean to the point where all the power dies.
It's one of those faults that's reared its head on this forum 4 or 5 times now, and only though coincidence was the true cause actually discovered

Wasn't it only on 1.3's though - a P reg would be a 998, methinks.

Don't know, the 993cc does have a VSS sensor though, how a faulty VSS sensor effects 993cc running issues I do not know.
Re: LADY BROKEN DOWN
I bow to your experience Matt , did not realise it was a Hijet in trouble . I quite often make stabs in the dark , thats why I walk with a limp .
Cheers
