Wiring Problem Empty Wiring Problem

Post by Tukz Sat May 22, 2010 9:32 pm

Hi All,
We finally got Tuki up and running with the Hijet engine fitted. Runs sweet as a nut and started first turn of the key!!!, even though the engine has been sitting for 7 months!. Anyway, when we put the engine in, we also put the wiring loom out of the van into the tuk tuk too. Problem is, the only things that work is the brake lights and the high beam of the headlight!!. We have no dash board at all and no other lights working. Before we start ripping the wiring loom apart has anyone got any ideas what we might try??.

Thanks Scott.

Been testing all day. Cannot figure out what is wrong. We followed the wiring diagram to the letter. All wires/colours are wired up correctly but still we have problems!. Looks like it's going to the Auto Electricians tomorrow. Yet another expense I could do with out!!!!.
