Just another Hijet

This Hijet was for sale last week in the Netherlands for € 1000. It's a MPV, the kind of Hijet you will not find easely around here. I think it's the only one driving in our country. I have never seen this kind of interieur and the options like the digital clock and the "flaps" at the wheels and the "useless handels" on the roof.
Also the tube on the rear whiper looks stange to me.

Do you know what the engine was?

It's a Hijet 1000 from 08-11-1996

So did you buy it?

No I didn,t. I was sold in a few days and I missed it. And how are you gonna explain your wife you have bought another Hijet? But on the other hand the seller mentioned some blue smoke now and then. Engine troubles????
I also prefer the 1.3 engine just because I had a some bad luck with the 993cc version. But still it's a shame we don't have the MPV as you do in the UK.

For a 1996 hijet, that is in amazing condition.

If that was a UK on, it would be rusting really badly.

I think that is a Jap Atari it looks like the accesories catalogue that some one posted up.

That's what I thought at first, but the steering wheel is on the wrong side for a Jap import.

so it is did they send them to anyone else though? I is a year younger than ours but I bet the Jap build quality is better than Piaggios.
