gear selector cables ??? Empty gear selector cables ???

vans in the garage but he cant find anywhere that makes and sells new cables, do we need to go salvage some??

hmmm now a good classic motorcycle shop might be able to help ya... they can make custom cables... or google that..

I don't know if they make cables that big but Venhills in Dorking Surrey make custom cables and there is also a firm called speedy cables that have a few branches.

I could take them off the parts van I have in the garden if you need a pair.

It's pretty easy to do.

ya know... dunno if its me or if i have a odd gear box..
i find i sometimes crunch gear changes a bit too often in the HJ. not sure if its me not pushing/pulling the gear stick enough or if the box is a "tight" area to change between gears... if that makes any sense!
clutch deffo pushed in when i do...& not doing the typical biker quick shifts... errrm.. all of the time..
1st in to 2nd if attempting to do quickly always crunches.

Maybe the clutch cable wants adjusting - (passenger side of the gear box, on the bell housing, black knob)

Access to it from passenger side in cabin or same side under van?
