Re: god, is that the time
I'm usually up 'n' about around 4.30am .
Never understood people who can stay in bed for hours and hours...bloody day is nearly over by the time some people get up.

Ah, but at least we're not tottering off to bed at 8pm with a mug of Ovaltine!

The thing is, I'm never in bed before mid-night.
I'm just one of them wierdos who only need a couple of hours sleep...even after a good session on the Guinness and Stongbow , I'll still be up at 4ish, bright as a button .

Made a mess of the second one, didn't he? I like my draught Guinness (can't stand the original stuff) straight and - here you might think me weird too, but it does bring out more of the flavour - warm. Room temperature or, even better, warmed beside the Aga. Best pint I ever had was in a pub in Ireland where there was no cooler on one Guinness line - took about 15 minutes to pour, but boy was it worth the wait!

A while back the black stuff was made here and Eire so we had Thames water, I went on honeymoon to Eire and the Guiness on the ferry was almost see through but the stuff in the pubs was spot on and shortly after the Thames unit was closed so now we get propper Liffey water stuff here as well which is all the better.
