Pesky carburettor pipes Empty Pesky carburettor pipes

My 1994 993 S85 has various little pipes going from this important little place to that. I rebuilt the engine about six months ago; first it was a nightmare to make it idle then I clamped one carb pipe and success - it runs fine now.
But that can't be right! All the pipes were connected before . . .
(I did mark each pipe for correct replacement. Maybe not correct enough)
PLease - has anyone a photo of the 993 carb with pipes correctly fitted. The workshop manual picture is useless!
