Re: electric avenue!!!!!!
Check the wire in the boot that goes to the battery, the thin pair. Give them a pull, see if they break off.
Re: electric avenue!!!!!!
You have the same sort of issue as this https://hijet.forumotion.com/t740-please-help-13-efi-is-dead
and as your light came on when you pissed with the main relay, its down there somewhere maybe.
If you tap it with a screwdriver does it make the ecu light flicker on?
They are really prone to fail on honda's - not that that helps at all
You can actually bypass that relay if you shove a wire in the right place. Its just a big switch after all.
There is a wire that comes of the igintion switch, which activates the main relay, and it also kicks in the fuel pump relay once the ecu is powered up.
But if the main relay doesn't turn on the ECU, then the fuel pump one won't kick in either as the ecu lets the fuel pump relay activate.

Here's a diagram - i've simplified the one from the "1.3 efi porter diagram - electrical"
See if you can get your head round it.
electric avenue!!!!!!
cheers hj, myself and eletrics just dont mix, however, have passed on advice to mate alan (sparkie) phoned an hour ago, stated van now going, corroded wires in dash leading to ecu, also loose wiring underneath near side of van, causing draining, when earthing due to movement, alan said this can happen again due to loom being exposed to elements and being so low, given agood rubber covering and i think ill re underseal the van at the weekend, alan was surprised it didnt happen on the way to= or return trip from skye!!!!, said if any thing happens again to contact yourself as your knowledge gave him a head start, so thank you very very much......., if you pass up this way , ill treat you to a very large scotch indeed.....
