Oil pump dead any ideas? Empty Oil pump dead any ideas?

Hi all my jet has been making some nasty noises and have realised the oil light flicks on and off, my mechanic thinks the oil pump is knackered as when changing oil the brief period before the pump kicked in the awful noise was gone.

Anyone know where to find a pump and any tips on changing one please?
