i had a mini for over 6 years with even darker windows, was never stopped for them or had any issues, they were darker than these, when you sit inside the van they are not as dark as they look from the outside ...

not bad from the inside

everything moved around, van moved to the dorrs ready for a trip to the MOT tomorrow

got a 1 day insurance cover for today as i don't know if my car insurance will upgrade, plus if it fails ill need to use my other car still, just about to book it in to my local MOT station, just need to pop out and check the headlights and get some tape glue off the screen

after a quick tweek on the brake compensator valve we have a pass.
Surprised how nippy they are.... also adjusted the squealing belt.....

had to stay with my previous supplier as they wanted £80 to leave... they couldn't change my car cover to van but did a new quote for £212 + £20 for cancelling the previous cover.. the £188 quote was with sure thing through confused.com.

spent an hour and half sorting the wiring for the radio, went to fit the din plate and the apeture is too small and too shallow for the radio.... that was a waste of time .....

That's why I have got loads of Glove Boxes from vans/pick-up's I have broken, with Radio-CD units in them.
I have also got a few of the Plastic Centre Consoles that some Hi-Jet's were blessed with.

this is the set up i had in my mini, bass box and amp
using a 3.5 jack lead connected directly to my phone. worked well

Get a centre console, looks and fits radios etc so much better.

got a new gear knob today , firstly cut it down as it was a bit long, had to drill it out to 10mm as it only had an M8 thread, then partly drilled it 14mm so it would fit over the gear lever shaft, then tapped the 10mm hole M12 , lastly had to run a die down the gear lever shaft thread as it was too fine..

layest aquesitions rear carpet and Smart roadster seats.....

had the van up on the lifts today, had to improvise
with some blocks as the other lifts were in use

got some wheels , 4 x 13x6 Wolfrace slot mags
from an autojumble for £50, also got some wheel inserts. having them machined to 110pcd and inserts fitted

just had the dash out to connect the heater control rod.. now connected.... can't believe how hot the heater is.... another plus!!!

Now done around 720 mls in the van since getting it passed the MOT.. No issues with cooling
at all , only problem i've had is the alternator belt stretching causing it to squeal..

Is it the original belt or a new one?

new belt. its toothed , I reckon a solid belt would be better

Just make sure its the correct profile.
