Been on a trip to Japan

Thought you might like a few pictures of small vans I saw there.


Mitsubishi, Okinawa.

Hijet in Naha, Okinawa.


Suzuki Carry, Shinjuku, Tokyo.


Hijet that had a little misunderstanding with a Toyota Crown taxicab, Shibuya, Tokyo.

Daihatsu Midget tucked away in a garage somewhere in an alley in Osaka.

Honda Acty, 4WD! Also Osaka.

Another Suzuki, somewhere in Kyoto.

Mitsubishi Minicab, Osaka.

Hijet ice box, Tokyo.


Hijet, Akihabara, Tokyo.

Had a great time, very recommended.

-edit- Never mind, the picture company is being a bitch and I am not going to try again.

At least I am not the only one who has problems with the Picture Posting Problems. Occasionally!!

You almost can't take a picture in Japan without a micro van in the frame. Everybody has one! Especially in rural areas they outnumber the bigger cars.

But presumably all of them 660cc models and with the ladder rack frame makes them look like tipper models.

All yellow/black plates indeed. But the engine size doesn't make the scenery any less good.
