Dash access panel removal Empty Dash access panel removal

On top of the dashboard there is an access panel that I think is used when mounting the radio pod on top of the dash. Anyone know how and more importantly how easy it is to remove?

It sort of pulls towards the back of the van.

Lube it up, then slip credit cards in the crack.

They are a bit stubborn to remove.
