im back ! with another van

hi guys,
im back again
(for newer members: hi iam nick from the netherlands i used to own this hijet and was a member on here for some time)

i sold the l300 camper because i didnt use it as much as i thought i would.





and thinking back on all the cars ive owned i would realy like to own a microvan again.
but now one thats a bit more reliable than a 1.3 hijet...
so after thinking long and hard and googeling my eyes out i bought a suzuki carry 0.8 1986




i als own a wagon r 1.2 glx, i will sell it in time for more funds for the carry
i am busy with the new wheels at the moment


with old wheels..

WB - I've missed that avatar of yours! I had a Rascal years back - it was OK but I preferred the Hijet. I don't think we got the 800cc engine over here though.

Guys I'm getting all wistfull and jealous and spending hours trawling through the web looking for another Hijet.

Sold mine last autumn and bought a VW LTmk1 camper. Havent used it as a camper once and its a beast to drive. You need to be really in the mood for it to bother wrestling it out of the drive and lumbering down the roads with a top speed of 55mph.

Despite the huge range of VW enthusiasts and events out there, nothing about that scene takes my fancy. I want my HIjet back

my l300 camper wasnt realy nice to drive to...
i broke out in sweat every time i drove it
it weighs 1800kg and had 68hp
no powersteering,column shifter gear stick, topspeed 90kmph

and i just could not get used to it being that wide, there was almost no space left and right to me in the road.
im used to driving litle tiny cars and having some space around me.
