Catering van?
Saw this and started to wonder...why? Cant be road legal surely? Is it structurally sound? Body has been cut through...and the price?

No that would not be a legal vehicle without an SVA test as it would be considered "radically modified" due to the alteration to the monocoque chassis. Hijets are considered as monocoque bodyshells as the bodywork is welded to the chassis rails and is not removable via bolts or fixing, and the bodyshell is used as structural support to the chassis rails.

If you built a shell like this on the back of a pickup hijet chassis, you would be legal e.g. not require an SVA.

If you tried to put this though an SVA, I think you might have a few problems.

I'm not sure who that would be catering for - looks more like a dogs-dinner than a hot dog. At least it has a new exost system!
