How to set ignition timing?
I messed up ignition timing during HG change. I need to set it up again. So if i turn the pulleys to the drill mark alignment like when i set up the timing belt would that be the dead center for cylinder 1? Anyone here who can tell me how i set the ignition correctly without special tools?

Set it with a timing light too.
I have not had a single 993cc turn up with the timing set right.
Double check all your vacuum lines too. Make sure there is vacuum to the MAP sensor.
