what are the chances of saving a 'dry' engine?
Engine's gone bang, very little oil in it. Engine not out of van yet so not sure if any obvious damage (like a gaping hole!). Anyone been in a similar situation?

It will be fucked.
Big ends, crank, cam etc etc.
Not worth fixing.
Scrap.

Thanks for the honesty, a girl can hope! Back to 'parts wanted' for a replacement engine it is then..
