Piaggio Porter 1.4D

Hello,

1st post looking for some advice, i have seen a Porter 1.4D for sale and trying to find info about the 1.4D is very hard so does anyone know what the top speed is? and what the common problems are? i know i should not even consider it as there is so little information and spares for them but its just so intriguing

Those engines are a total POS.

Slow, noisy, impossible to get parts for, specialist tools needed to rebuild them.

I struggle to come up with anything good to say about them.

I know the 1.2 hijet diesel clamed 70MPG. (and I think the top speed on its trip home before it over heated, was supposedly 55MPH. I seam to recall seeing 50 when I drove one, but its a vague memory...)
