Re: custom handbrake & gear gators
Well done Looks great. I got my van a couple of weeks ago & thought the gaters look pretty rubbish. Plan on making new ones at some point. Need to decide on covering for the door cards & other interior panels first then will have gaters to match.
Really impressed Ryan

Thanks Penny, i'm carpeting my door cards in black , also making a new carpet for the floor in the front as its worn through, that'll also be black, the load area is getting carpeted too as i'm converting it into a camper van, haven't decided what color yet though!!
Re: custom handbrake & gear gators
I'm thinking of doing the door cards & panels with pvc coated fabric but there are so many designs it's hard to chose. Wether to stay safe & sensible or have something a little crazy

That looks like a pro job....I'm not that clever !! They do a fresian cow pattern (that's the one my other half likes....says I could then get furry cow set covers too & put black cow spots all over the outside of the van ) or tartans, flowers etc Or then there are the vinyl leather look in greys, black or brown. Decisions, decisions

the one for the Hyundai Atos is what fits the gear stick, the have to cut the top of the hijet's gaitor and put it inside the leather gaiter as the original rubber gaitor holds the leather one in place....its all about trimming it until everything fits right as it's for a different car.i just happened to have it laying about!
