Happy Days

hi peeps seems a bit silly putting this post up but i am buzzing my tits off,
ever since i have had my doris the temp gauge has always been above what i call normall but she has never over heated so ignored it knowing if i look ill find something and knwoing my luck cost a small fortune to fix,

anyway was dropping missus of earlier and got stuck in traffic, it was a bad accident and was stationary for about 1.1/2hrs
no overheating or anythng, i am one very happy man, i might even treat doris to a bath tomorrow

It's amazing innit, I can sit in traffic in the Jag all day withoit it overheating and not even think aboit it, it happens in the Hijet and it feels like a miracle has occurred!

And some how, even after a couple of years of owning the same one, after not overheating from sitting in stand still stop start traffic for 45 minutes, I still see it as a major achievement!  

I was sat there expecting a complete failure of liquid containment but she was as good as gold, only thing i did notice was a slight oil smell but i know she has an oil leak so was expected

haha, yep im the same, every journey over 50 miles and every traffic jam, constantly checking temp of air and listening for bubbling!
