Knock yourself out!!!

http://www.motuk.co.uk/manual_180.htm

Where what I do, it park I somewhere level pointing at a nice wall about 4 meters away.

I get them so they are pretty much straight level but pointing down a tad.

Then I make them point bang on straight then turn them to the kerb a tad.

Seems to work ok Laughing

It's a great site. Lets you know the goal posts for the annual nightmare!

Also from reading the handbook, you realise the MOT rules can be interpreted in different ways.

With regard to the setting of headlights , my old boss used to do a similar thing to H.J but he used a board to mark a cross on at the same height as the centre of the headlight and had someone hold it about 12 inches away from the headlight . He would then line the main beam up so that it would fall slightly below the horizontal line and in the centre of the vertical , and then dipped beam should fall in the bottom left hand corner of the cross .

Not done it myself but saw him do it many times on the trucks and he always came back with a pass .

Good Luck
