Dealer or no Dealer

All Daihatsu dealers will be able to do the same thing, if you take the van in so they can look at it, they can tell you if it's the faulty one fitted. They will check the details I previously gave above but that only tells you that you're potentially at risk or if your van has already been done under the recall. Only by actually looking at it can they tell which one you have. In my case where it went from vibrating to actually hanging off. Oh and for what it's worth I never thought I'd have babies and sell my bike for 4 wheels!
