Re: Who do insure with?
They tried to pay my mate out £500 or something when someone crashed into his CRX as that is the sort of "book price" on a 20 year old civic.
We went on a huge research mission to find similar examples of car advertised, printed them out and sent them off and they paid him more like £2000.
I'd argue that I want paying out what it would cost me to replace my van. So go an find me another 35k mile non rotten 1.3 hijet and see if you can find one for less than £1000.

Re: Who do insure with?
this is getting very frustrating, the qoute for £207 has vanished... i have the email with the quote and link (comare the market) but that quote is not there now... got another quote from admiral for £216 saved it so it would email me the quote and link, i get the email saying my quote is £268!!! what the hell is going on, what is the point in filling these stupid forms in to get a quote if the quotes are all wrong??

Re: Who do insure with?
so insurance done, £124 in the end with only the cumpulsory £100 excess, and i just noticed that it was £70 cheeper than last year so i cant complain really
hj, you mentiond you always get third party only, have you got quotes for fully comp? at your age it should be cheeper, when i checked for prices third party with and withought fire and theft they were much more expensive has been like that for years for me!

I think you read me wrong!
I'm on a fully comp commercial policy, mine like most do not include cover to drive other vehicles on a 3rd party cover basis.
My normal car policies do allow me to driver other vehicles on a 3rd party only cover basis though.
Well done on the £124 cover, that is bang tidy!

Haha, oh, yeah so I i did, probably watching the tv at the same time ;-)
Hopefully if it follows this trend it will be a little less next year, don't have breakdown cover yet, was looking t the aa and seems they do one tht covers up to £500 on repairs too, wish I'd had that could have got the head done by a mechanic at no extra cost! No point now!

AA repairs probably only done at certain rip off garages which always go way over £500.
