It was the handy work of YODEL delivery company.

And let me guess, body panels are not covered by the courier insurance?

I eventually got £100 back, which almost covered the cost of telephone calls in the 4 weeks it took to locate and return the mangled tailgate. I've never experienced anything like them in all my years of dealing with couriers.

cheapest is always UPS. £25 for a van seat aint bad as i know post office cant handle it!

If you use paypal postage you can get a rear bench seat shipped, or even a cylinder head for £12 through parcelforce, They're pretty strict on the 30kg rule and the acceptable dimensions but cant be beaten on price, especially as I'm shipping all my things from NI. Unfortunately the rear tailgate was just under the 30kg but way out on the dimensions they accept.

i have tried PP postage, but it doesnt like the fact i use an Apple Mac & ends up in a mess!
for small letters i use post office online (got an account)/printer.
for anything "package" size i always use Interparcel.
