Early 90s i3 S110V no spark

I have a crank no start. I have no spark with a spark tester at a plug wire. Key on, grounded neg circuit on coil and I get a spark. So the coil is good. put a test light on the neg circuit of the coil and does not flash. Is the coil igniter in the distributor? If so can I get just the ignitor or do I need a whole new distributor? Where can I get one in the US without paying an arm and a leg? Thanks for the help.
