Heater not working - Hijet
Hijet 993cc 1L 1996 camper conversion
The blower works but doesn't send out any hot air, only cold
I've fixed heater issues on newer vehicles in the past by replacing resistors etc with the help of youtube
I have no idea where to start with this girl for even the most basic things, she's old and complicated and all of her parts seems to be a task just to locate...!
Shame non of us can find a thorough workshop manual!
Any advice welcome
Thanks,
Rosie

you need to bleed the heater remove the front grill to expose the radiator cap above that is a small pipoe with a rubber cap over it take the cap off run engine keep topping up radiator until water comes out the heater bleeder cap it off again and you should have a heater

Don't forget you only get hot air to feet and screen, the face-level vents are always cold.

Yea I bled the radiator until it had finished burping... then read the second comment... and realised the screen does heat it's just the face levels that blow freezing cold air out... got a deisel heater to install so that will help me defrost after driving anywhere thanks for the info, would have been scratching my head on that for a while!
