Hijet roof rack

Hi Micro van users! I am after a roof rack for a 2001 Hijet 1.3i16v. Its the taller roof one, so if anyone of you lovey folks have a spare, or one for sale, I'd love to know. Want it for windsurfing/surf boards. :-) Hope you can help.

Doubt you'll find a roof rack to fit, but Paddy Hopkirk ladder racks make fine roof bars and have the height needed. I'm after a pair as well...

Hope they fit. I don't think I've seen Thule bars on a Hijet, but they seem to be specced for it. Pricey, though.

I don't think 9 inches is enough (ooh er missus!) to clear the crown of the roof. This 11" one might be better for the same money.

Message from the beyond....well Woodie any way....
9 inches is the lowest you can go at the back and 8.5 inches at the front (measured at the middle of the front doors. Here are some pics of the roof rack he has made himself which is why he knows the measurements.

I have a some roof bars for a Hijet I wont be needing If your still after them.

I found a pair of thule adapters on the street;
But they did not fit so i welded a kind of adapter thing so i can use it on my van
a little fiddly to put them on the roof because i have to connect the holders to the roof bar first then put it on the roof, but hey i was for free.
When i took the pictures that ting was only for testing if its works, afterwards i welded everything properly together and painted
