What is missing?

There is this piece of copper pipe in my Hijet. Looks suspiciously like a bodge job and leaks a tiny amount of coolant.
What was supposed to be there?
It's an 03 1.3 EFI LPG.

You need to contact Woodie he knows about the LPG HiJets.

That is what I thought Raggy but as it is an LPG van I think maybe Woodie would know better than me and maybe you. My suspicion is the pipe (the strangled octupus?) perished and had a leak so someone chopped out a section and replaced it with copper tube.

But as it is LPG I am not certain .....
