Day van/camper van
The van hijet I have purchased that I am currently doing the head gasket on is a converted day van/camper bench seat at the front and back that turns into a bed. I’m wanting to add a few bits like a pull out cooker at the rear and maybe a fridge. Looking for inspiration so post your pictures!
Also looking for some kind of blinds to replace the curtains of anyone has done anything like that.

In english....Rivits I'll see if I can dig out some pics of my curtains etc. In the mean time have a look at my Renovation of Skylark thread on the General Forum section.

Have any of you fitted a diesel marine style heater. Just won one on eBay. Two brand new 2kw ones. One doesn’t have fitting to will be used as spares if needed. If anyone has delved into this before where did you fit the unit? I will start a new post once I start to fit it!

Re: Day van/camper van
its one i purchased on ebay, well I actually got two, didn't realise I was buying a pair at first but that another story. My mate runs a Chinese red and white one in his t4 (there all over ebay) not sure if this is Chinese or not but it was a bargain. these are a couple of the ebay photos.
thinking of either mounting it in a fabricated metal box underneath or in the front box seat/sofa that makes the bed

That's brilliant, looks like the thread size is correct. operates before my standard one would which cant be a bad thing. the plug isn't the same but I guess I could just use two spade connectors?Raggy wrote:How about:

Re: Day van/camper van
that diesel marine heater isn't anything to do with my radiator problems btw, its a space heater to keep me warm when camping haha just thought I would clarify that. I'm well chuffed about that link though, I have been looking all over.
