Just bought a Piaggio Porter - and need some advice

Hi -I have just purchased a 2004 Piaggio Porter (which I believe is the same as a Daihatsu Hijet), and it broke down on my second outing!
Van suddenly stopped with no spark at the spark plugs off any coil pack, all earth points checked suspect Cam sensor or infighter has anyone had anything similar ??
I would appreciate any advice/comments
