Hijet Front Shock Absorbers

I'm trying to source two new shock absorbers for my Hijet 1.3 reg: 1999, proving to be incredibly difficult. Anybody else had this problem? Out of interest Piaggio Porter shock absorbers are readily available, are these interchangeable? Any advice gratefully accepted.

Hi, I'm guessing you are the guy who asked on the Facebook page? I'm Chris who gave you an answer on there 
If you look under your drivers seat at your vin plate you will see that you hijet was actually built by Piaggio
