My Beloved Hijet is up for sale

Well, its been a great relationship, but I need to move the little Van on to someone who will take care of her.

Has done me proud this last year, and I am a little upset to see her go, but circumstances mean I really do not need it anymore.

I'll put some pictures up in a while with a full description.

In short she runs fine, has no problems and has had a quite a lot done over the last year.

Runs perfectly with no known issues, and no overheating problems since I have owned it.

Used for short runs only around 30 mile round trips, 2-3 times a week.

Seems good, What the arches like ?? I have same model and year but mines seen better days ! I am in Wiltshire and am interested in this but the price seems high to me

well, it was a quick picture under each wheel in response to Retro's post at 7.30pm - I thought I was being quite kind by running out and snapping some pics for him at night - straight away?

I'm not going to run out, jack it up and take detailed pictures of every detail when someone asks a question- suffice to say the arches are fine as far as I can see.

Viewings are also welcome, like we did in the old days before the t'internet

Yeah that was quite kind and i appreciated it but your pictures are crap !!!! only kidding ! like highleyjetted said tho. that back arch by the side door ! i recently discoved this when i removed some mud to find rust that went into a hole !!!!

This in the description sounds like a bit of a get out clause:-

It was put there, as this is how it has been used for over a year now, and I had numerous calls asking if they could collect and drive away.

Places as far as Newcastle / Leeds and even Northern Ireland.
Also people calling and asking if it would be good for converting and travelling around the UK, as a camper.

I wanted to make it clear what kind of life the van has had.

If you read into it as a 'get out clause' then so be it HighlyJetted, you seem to have an issue with me selling this van overall to be honest.

I have been 100% genuine in this sale, and said everything how it is ........ I am / was not trying to offload a dodgy Hijet - it is a good runner, always has been - and I am a genuine and honest person !

The guy who bought it lives on a boat, and was using it to move and store his sails, was always going to be short term.

He has since phoned me, and let me know that he is moving it on, as its not quite big enough for him, and is looking at static storage.

No issues over here mate.

All I've said is the photos were not pointing to the places they rust - which is true.

So reading between the lines your saying its not your problem if it breaks down if you drive it over 30 miles. Which is a slight get out clause unless I mis-understand!

Fair enough, you are being totally honest.

But I have no problem over here what so ever.
