Re: Is it real 4x4?
Well he is talking rubbish anyway. Its is NOT THE LOWEST TAXBAND. The vehicle is a 2003 so it is the Light Van rate. ----- must be a car dealer ---- Hi-Jet owners usually know which band its in.

Sorry, have I missed something here as usual?? Have you bought this van Policychecker ??
I Sent an email to the Seller about his error over the Roadtax details and a couple of other issues.
My comment about talking rubbish ( if you have bought this ) was not directed to you, but the
Vendor. Thought I had better clear that up straight away when I re-read the Post from PFM.
Regards, Woody.

Oops !!! . Mind you his Avatar doesn't say where he comes from.
I wish members would put down the area where they come from as quite often members don't live far away from each
other and don't know it and could quite often be able to help each other out. Would be a big help if they did that.

Hi All and Thanks again for pointing all those things out Woody, I wish you were over here in northern Ireland you could have a look at the little red van and advise me some more I'm selling it and it is the pretty rare 4x4 LPG I'm going to get a picture, like woody advised to show the axle. i checked again and it states the van should be £140 tax for the year. But i'll phone them on Monday to double check.

I'm also breaking a 1995 1.0 van if anyone needs any bits or wants to buy the whole thing. it has a reconditioned engine in her that has only done a couple of thousand miles and the original van has only done 43,000 including the new miles, but it's been sitting for a while.

Re: Is it real 4x4?
If a van is registered before 2001 the road tax charge is based on engine size so from April 2011 engines of up to 1549cc cost £130 a year and those of at least 1550cc cost £210. Six-monthly rates are £71.50 and £115.50 respectively.
Euro4 vans registered between March 2003 and December 2006 are liable for £130 VED a year and £71.50 for six months and Euro5 vans are subject to the same charges. All vans registered outside of these dates pay road tax of £210 a year and £115.50 for six months.

Well done PC. I see you have modded your Avatar already. I feel it really will help
members if we know the areas where other members are.
